Feel Like a Kid Again at Maine’s ‘Bug Light Kite Festival’

Hopefully by May there'll be no snow left, not even a speck. By then the fresh air should reign and mild days will start happening consecutively instead of teasing us with gorgeous weather here and there.

When that happens, we'll all wanna be outside and celebrate blue skies and sunshine. And what better way to do that and feel like a kid again with the kids by flying a kite!

You can bring your own kite to join the other wicked awesome gigantic kites that will be high above. Just look at these things!

The Bug Light Kite Festival is organized each year by the South Portland Historical Society. This is the 10th annual celebration spotlighting some of the most incredible kites evah!  It happens on Saturday May 18 from 11am to 4pm over by SMCC in South Portland.
