Fun Maine Song from Grampa and Grandson Complains About the Heat
We've all been waiting for this since September. Of course now that we finally have a day of summer weather, there will be plenty of Mainers grumbling that it's a hot one.
Here's a fun little ditty from our friends in the band Flooded Cellar. The tune is called "It's a Hot One" and it's perfect to sing along with on a beaut like today. It's a wicked chahmin' duet from Grampa Dennis Barker and his grandson, Colin.
Opening with the line, "I can't believe I'm whinin' bout how hot it is today." It also mentions 'delightful' stuff like black flies, bee stings, sunburns and sweat. We say bring it on! After the brutal winter we had, we are probably willing to suffah plenty days like today.
