Greedy Squirrels Are Helping Themselves to Maine Crops
According to News Center Maine, squirrels are really crossing the line by ruining farmer's fall crops.
Because of a huge bumper crop of acorns last fall, squirrels are running the streets in enormous numbers as they try to fatten themselves up for winter. It's horrifying to see them crushed on the road, but...enough is enough squirrels! Now they are messing with the livelihood of our Maine farmers by taking bites out of our fall goodies, mostly pumpkins and apples.
I'm not saying that this is an organized effort to annoy the human population, but really, what kind of jerk takes one bite from an apple and then moves on to take one bite from another?! Just take the one apple and feast for crying out loud.
Stupid squirrels.
