Got a wickedly simple, tempting all-purpose marinade for your outdoor grill meal planning and a four-ingredient milk-shake that will make you swoon...

This is the kinda weekend where cooking over the kitchen stove is not really on your flight plan. The charcoal grill on the patio is calling, what to do?

Well, if you're at camp or the rental cottage and kitchen-wise, you want (or need) to keep it uncomplicated, here's an easy-to-whip-up marinade that works for pork, chicken or beef (pick your fave!), along with a dessert drink that requires using your blender for just a couple of minutes.

Best Marinade for (Almost) Everything:

You got cans of cola laying around? Pop one open to make this all-purpose "Soda Soak". You'll only need to marinate the meat for at least 1 hour or up to 8, which leaves you plenty of time for multiple pool dives.

In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup cola, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup Worcestersghire sauce, 1/4 cup honey, 1 Tbsp garlic powder, 1 Tbsp onion powder, 1 Tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Makes about 2 cups. Deceivingly flavorful!

Thanks to Food Network's Sunny Anderson for inspiring the best and most satisfying milk-shake we've had in years:

Your Summer Weekend Chocolate PB and J Shake:

Ingredients: 3 cups chocolate ice cream, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup chocolate or plain whole milk, and your choice of jam (for serving) -- We found grape jelly worked just as well as strawberry jam here -- For garnish, whatever you like: whipped cream, chopped peanuts, maraschino cherries...

Directions: In a blender, add the ice cream, peanut butter and milk and blend until smooth. Here's the kicker: drizzle that jam or jelly on the inside of 2 glasses.

Pour the shake in and top with your choice or garnish along with a little bit more of the jam/jelly, then prepare to have your eyes roll to the back of head...

And you never went near the oven!
