Check out this rarity! It's The Bob Seger System at the Portland Expo almost 50 years ago. This is how they opened the show, with Mongrel. What a gem!

The second time was 8 years later with The Silver Bullet Band on May 17, 1978. This was 2 days after the release of Stranger in Town and the CCCC was sold-out.

Probably looked something like this!

The third Maine appearance was on the Against the Wind tour at the Cumberland County Civic Center. "It seems like yesterday. But, it was long ago." Another sold-out show in Portland on September 25,1980.

He last Maine appearance was on the Bangor's Waterfront in 2014 with the mighty J.Geils Band opening.

According to his website, Bob Seger's Roll Me Away Final Tour goes on this year through June. We sure wish there was a New England date. Maybe he'll change his mind and add another leg later. Fingers crossed! We LOVE the SEEG!!
