Traditionally, National Lobster Day has been observed on June 15th. Looks like the Senate changed that to September 25th a couple years ago and once again reaffirmed it last year according to the Portland Press Herald. Either way, we're cool with observing Maine's premiere industry twice a year right?

Our good friends at the Shark in Portsmouth made a wicked fun music video expressing passion for New England’s favorite succulent summer meal. For the locals and tourists alike…it's The Lobster Roll! A parody of I Love Rock N’ Roll, it features a cameo appearance by our favorite forecaster, the Hillbilly Weatherman!
