Our number one performance is pretty much one of the handfuls of top performances ever., QUEEN's set at Live Aid. 18 minutes that cemented the band's reputation as legends. Maybe you've seen the scene recreated in Bohemian Rhapsody. We decided to play it in its entirety at Blimpstock. And we still get goosebumps every time we play it. We have it for you below.

You know it's going to be a great day when you KICK OFF a 12-hour fantasy concert with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. We're guessing that the 7 am set times was the earliest Bruce may have ever played! We give Bruce and E Streetour #2 best performance as It was the perfect way to kick off our Ultime Classic Rock Concert-BLIMPSTOCK.

We had such great feedback from the epic Blimpstock show we did last week that we are bringing it back for an encore performance this Sunday. Where do you put AC/DC in a marathon concert like Blimpstock? put 'em too early and everybody else looks wimpy. Put them too late and the audience may not have anything left. It's a 12-hour show you know! So for Blimpstock, we decided to put Angus and the boys smack dab in the middle of the day. It worked out perfectly. When 2:30 rolled around everyone who was stuck working from home needed a REAL break. And then came an epic AC/DC live set. We've recreated it for you here:

We have a confession to make. The Allman Brothers Band were not on the original lineup for Blimpstock. We only had room for 24 bands and the Allmans were right on the bubble. As always, we wanted your input on the lineup and when we reached out on Facebook almost one in every five of you demanded we include the Allmans. Decision MADE! The Allmans were in and we gave them a primetime slot of 6 pm. It was fantastic. Thank you Blimpsters, for your passion for this band!

You can't have a Blimpstock without the Grateful Dead. Period. We had a blast bringing you the Ultimate Classic Rock Concert this past week. 12 hours of LIVE rock and roll from the legendary Blimp archives. We tasked our Deadhead of the Blimp DJ's, the iconic Guru with curating a Dead Set unlike no other. We all wondered which of the THOUSANDS of live Dead Sets that the Guru would pick. And he blew us away when the Dead took to the Blimpstock stage and Brian played an actual show from the Cumberland County Civic Center here in Portland. Brilliant!

Thanks for rocking with us at BLIMPSTOCK this week. We had a blast bringing your 12 hours of LIVE rock and roll from the legendary Blimp archives. All the WBLM DJs fought over who would get to do the RUSH set and the Guru won the battle. He put together an amazing set. Looks like they went over their allotted time, but hey, that's rock and roll! And it was sweet to hear Neil Peart playing the drums. Great set form the Canadien power trio. It's recreated here for you!

One of the coolest things about putting on the Ultimate Classic Rock Concert is that you could have ANYONE, even if they are not with us anymore. They may be gone but their music lives on forever.
