Lately, I've heard a lot of, "summer's almost over" statements and I disagree. There's still plenty of time to get out before snowfall even tries to threaten our sanity. Most of us wouldn't end up toward Farmington during the summer for much but you might want to check this place out. Drive-in theaters are starting to come back and Narrow Gauge Cinema in Farmington does it right.

Not only is there the drive-in running on the weekends, there's an outdoor bar and grill right within short walking distance where movies are projected during your dining.

Typically, going to the movies might include overpriced everything, being crushed by the smells of packed room, and staff checking in every half-hour or so to make sure you're behaving... trouble-makers... Or you can check out the drive-in, pay per vehicle- sit in your own vehicle or outside, bring whatever you want for snacks and drinks (eh-hem, *drinks), have a little privacy and stick around for a double feature if you want.

Oh, and how about that view...
