11 years ago, we teamed up with our good friend Eben Clukey to make the WBLM Christmas song benefitting the Good Shepherd Food Bank. We're proud to say it has become a Blimpville Holiday Classic.

It's the story written by Eben Clukey of when Santa's sleigh unexpectedly breaks down and the Blimp comes to the rescue as a fill-in on Christmas Eve.  "Each and every one of us can make a difference...even f-ed up stoner DJs."

Eben is the fella who’s also responsible for other BLM favs like “Mr. Man” and “Frickin’ Freezin”. He’s a very funny man, talented songwriter, and superb musician.

The WBLM Band and Eben recorded “The Blimp That Saved Christmas” at The Studio in Portland with the great Jim Begley producing. That’s me and Dom taking turns on lead vocals and Eben doing the narration.

Check out the making of “The Blimp That Saved Christmas” shot by Liquid Creative Media below and make sure request it this holiday season on BLM.
