Watch: Two Years Ago, Lightning Strikes Maine Church
We had some rocking boom, booms last night, huh! It’s summertime in Maine and you what that means…chance of a thunderstorm pretty much everyday. On May 27 2015, a wicked strong one ripped through Aroostook County. This church in the small town of Grand Isle, Maine (population 400 and sumpthin’) was struck by a big, loud bolt of lightning. Amazingly, 16 year old Carl Bouley happened have his video camera rollin’ at the exact time the St Gerard-Mount Carmel Parish was impacted. Pretty intuitive of him to catch this powerful moment!
Watch the incredible 20 second footage of when the lightning strikes!
