What Maine Restuarant Won the Incredible Breakfast Cook-Off?

Meet the newest Maine Foodie Rock Star; Chef Isaak Aldrich of the Sebasco Harbor Resort. Chef Issac and his team won the Incredible Breakfast Cook-Off today with an incredible Maine Lobster Breakfast Taco. Ingredients: Bowden Farms buttery scrambled eggs, house made chorizo, Small Point Maine lobster, cotija cheese, brunois red pepper, hollandaise, cilantro, and a warm flour tortilla. WOW

We had another amazing sold-out crowd this year. Thanks to all of you who came out because the real big winner today was Preble Street who helps create solutions for homelessness, hunger and poverty. YOU help raised $4,000 today for Preble Street.

The Cook-off is the official kick-off for Maine Restaurant Week, There are zillions of restaurants participating, so have at it.

Looks like we will have to wait another year for OUR recipe to win. Please do note however,  that "The Captain's Balls" dish did receive TWO votes this year, a new personal best! Many thanks to Sea Dog Brewing for hosting us again
