He was born Stephen Ray Perry in Hanford, California on January 22, 1949. Happy 72nd Birthday to the guy best known as the lead vocalist of Journey, Steve Perry!

The incredibly powerful singer fronted the band from 1977 to 1987. After Journey, Steve continued with a very successful solo career that begin with his album, Street Talk.

He returned to the music world after decades out of the spotlight. Fans had been asking us over and over, "What ever happened to Steve Perry?" Then in the late summer of 2018, he surprised us all and returned to the world of music after decades out of the spotlight.

On August 15, 2018, we were so very honored to have Steve Perry live with the Captain and Celeste on the WBLM Morning Show for his first radio interview announcing that he was finally coming back with a new album called, Traces.
