And how great it that she appears to be keeping her whistle wet with what looks like a glass of wine AND a beer. You go Nana!

People only sound like this if they've been her all their lives. Wicked authentic. Usually with absolutely no idea that they sound funny to the to folks from away. We love the way we and especially our elders talk!

It's also great these days to hear our kids slippin' in the ol' Maine accent now and then too. There is hope that it will be kept alive for generations to come. Ayuh.
