Yesterday I landed in Nova Scotia with 4 other Townsquare Media Portland DJ's. We took The Cat from Portland to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and the topic of conversation for most of the 5 and a half hour trip was the lobster boil awaiting us when we got to our hotel, Ye Olde Argyler. Here in Nova Scotia it's called a lobster boil instead of lobster bake! We arrived at night and stayed up eating lobster, mussels, corn on the cob with garlic butter and fresh dill, espresso creme brulee and drinking amazing local wine until 12:30!

Here are some pics of an absolutely divine dinner, thank you Chef Jonathan for my whopping TWO POUND lobster!

Because we got in so late, we had our boil indoors. I wanted you to see how amazing an outdoor lobster boil at Ye Olde Argyler in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia really is!

I can't wait to go back! A 5 and a half hour trip across the water on The Cat leaves you feeling like you really are in a different country. Clear your head, breath in the salty air and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and friendly culture of Nova Scotia. Find out more about The Cat and Nova Scotia!
