The Shanty Cafe isn't just a restaurant, it's a social enterprise that provides meaningful employment to people of all abilities. This is Michael, he met us at the ferry terminal with fragrant, hot international food. Michael is passionate about their philosophy regarding their employees and also their commitment to the environment.

The Shanty Cafe wins my heart with their all day breakfast and eclectic menu featuring authentic Cuban, Indian and local cuisine!

Our mouths watered when we smelled the delicious flavors and spices coming from the hot Cuban Croquetas, Falafel and Chicken Indian Samosas- and the dipping sauces!
