Damn. Damn. Damn. We had them. We had the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs on an off night last night. Could you believe the score deep into the game? 6-3? What? Is this an MLB score? But no, the Pats defense was holding tough. Then some sloppy play in the Red Zone and some HORRIFIC officiating squelched a night that could have gone down in history. The Pats lost 26-10 on what had to be the LONGEST day of many Patriot players football careers. But what if? What if Cam Newton HAD played? The man who has accounted for the bulk of the Patriots offense this year. Would we have won? Damn, right we would have!
